Yes. Cats love the hood: it is exactly the kind of covered spot they look for on their own. Size M fits most cats, L suits big cats such as Maine Coons.

Yes, in the machine: cold water, gentle cycle, then let it air dry. No tumble dryer. Pet hair comes off with a lint roller.
