Take your usual hoodie size. Between two sizes, go up: the pocket needs room. A is the full chest circumference, B the length from the top of the shoulder to the hem.
They want to be on you. Now they can be.
Cats and small dogs do not want the bed you bought them. They want your lap, your chest, the exact spot you are sitting in. So you stop typing, put the mug down, and stay very still.
The Pouch Hoodie moves that spot to the front of a thick fleece hoodie. Your pet lies against your chest, curled up and warm, and your hands go back to whatever they were doing.

1. Open the zip along the top of the pocket.
2. Your pet climbs in, or you lower them in, bottom first.
3. Their head comes out through the round window, and you close the zip as far as they like.
The pocket is lined with the same fleece as the outside and sits low on the body, so the weight rests on your hips rather than hanging from your shoulders. The window is wide enough for a whole head, and a cat that wants to leave simply leaves.

No harness straps, no carrier hanging off you. When your pet is asleep somewhere else, you are wearing a heavyweight fleece hoodie with a deep kangaroo pocket and a hood. Hands in the pocket, phone in the pocket, done.
The window shows the fleece lining behind it, nothing else. Most people wear it as their everyday hoodie, and the pet joins when it feels like it.

Yes, with two rules: the head stays out through the window, and the zip is never closed over the face. The pocket supports the whole body from underneath and the fleece breathes.
Do not run, cycle or drive with a pet in the pocket, and never leave a pet in it unattended.

There is no hard cut-off: the pocket carries the whole body from underneath and the fleece is heavyweight. What matters is size. Cats of any usual size and small dogs up to about 10 kg (22 lb) fit comfortably: a Jack Russell, a Frenchie, a small Cavalier.
From about 7 kg, take size L or above so the pocket has room. Beyond 10 kg the pocket still holds, but it gets heavy for you and cramped for them. Open the size guide and compare with your pet.

Most cats need two or three tries. Put the hoodie on, sit down, drop a treat in the pocket and let them find it themselves. The ones who already like sitting on you take to it fast.
If yours never does, send it back within 30 days.

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, zip closed, and let it air dry. No tumble dryer, or the fleece mats. Pet hair comes off with a lint roller, as with any fleece.
